I have a new sales pitch for you today. Well, somewhat new because you've heard me promoting this for a past few weeks, but the new Generative AI for Marketers course from Trust Insights is now open. What's in it? The course is a self-paced five-hour intensive to teach you what generative AI is, how large language models work, prompt engineering best practices, the six major generative AI use cases. Piloting and governance on AI, risk mitigation for generative AI, scaling the use of AI, marketing impacts of generative AI and mitigation methods, impacts on careers, and previews of what's next in generative AI.

Now, what's in it for you? This is a deep dive into AI, but it's for say non-technical, but it's it's it's not for coders. You'll explore the foundations of large language models like ChatGPT and how they're reshaping content creation and data analysis. There's a lot of hands-on time in this course. Lots and lots of exercises for you to do uh in all these areas.

There's a workbook too that comes along with it so you can track keep track of your exercises, and of course you get a certificate of completion at the end. And the focus is on real-world applications. So with every lesson, you're gonna apply your new knowledge to your marketing tasks so that every bit of learning translates into something useful. All right, who should take this course? You are a fit to take this course if you meet any of the following qualifications.

One, you're interested in or currently using generative AI in some capacity. Two, you have tried ChatGPT or a similar system at least once. Three, you are trying to learn more about generative AI, specifically more use cases and practical examples. Four, you're responsible for day-to-day marketing tactics that might be candidates for AI to help with. Five, you're responsible for managing people and their use of AI or working on a strategy for doing so.

Or six, you're responsible for the overall strategic use of AI in your company. If any of those things are true, this course is a good fit for you. Who should not take this course? It's not for everyone. If you are an advanced user, you'll get some but not as much benefit from it.

Here's how to know if you're an advanced user. One, you know the difference of the different scenarios in which you would implement, say, Pinecone versus ChromaDB for retrieval augmented generation. If you know what that sentence means and you're wrestling with that scenario right now, the course isn't going to help you. Two, you understand and perhaps have done adjustments to tensor layers in an open weights model or done a model merge. Maybe you've converted a model from floating point 16 to a quantized model.

If you've done those things, this course isn't for you. Three, you are currently writing code against the OpenAI Assistance API, or you're using autogen or lang chain already. Again, if you're doing those things now, this course is not for you. So, let's hear from an actual human being who's already taken the course. Uh, this is a testimonial from Hannah who took the course as a beta tester.

Hannah says, When Chris talks, I listen, and he talked a lot in this course about generative AI for marketers. I'm wholly satisfied with my decision to hunker down on a Sunday to complete the curriculum because this isn't another quote, how to write better prompts snoozefest. This course gave me the critical frameworks I need to not only extract better output from our generative AI friends, but also deploy and operationalize AI in my company without putting us at legal, creative, or ethical risk. And that's not the best part. The course gave me strategic direction so I can start taking steps today to build a moat around my company.

A few times I had to pause the course video so I could send emails to my colleagues about key agenda items for our next quarterly planning meeting. We're all nervous about how AI will impact our companies, erode our competitive advantages, and jeopardize our jobs. This course is the antidote to those very real and very justified concerns. If you're on the fence about taking this course, I urge you to hop off and log into the course portal now. So thank you, Hannah, for that very, very nice testimonial.

So are you ready to embark on this transformative journal journey into generative AI? It's not just about learning AI, it's about empowering you to be the trendsetter in the marketing world. Yes, every every one of their cousins using chat GPT in some capacity, but it's very disorganized, right? You will when you once you've taken this course, you will have a whole toolkit of generative AI capabilities that will let you use it for tactical things and for strategic things. Enroll now and be the marketer who not only understands AI but excels at it.

Go to trust insights.ai slash AI course. And uh if you use the discount code almost timely, you'll get $50 off the course fee. See you on Sunday for the regular newsletter. Oh, and disclosures. I use the GPT 4 model with a custom GPT that I made.

There's a chapter on this in the course, uh, to write the benefits bullet point list and the call to action. Even with a custom GPT, the software really struggled to generate the the who should and shouldn't use the course lists, because uh uh there's there's a lot of knowledge that's not in the source materials, but just AI disclosures, uh, which by the way, also covered in the course. Thanks for tuning in. See you next time.
