I barely remember driving to Cleveland today.
I made it safely, of course. Safety first.
But I challenged myself with an interesting puzzle. What if I took as much of the MAICON schedule as possible, based on all the session descriptions, fed it all to my Hermes Agent to read back to me while I was driving, and did 10-15 minute voice memos (eyes always on the road!) of how I would present that same session?
It was an intense brain workout that made me think about how well I know some topics, and how I would set myself apart if I had to do the talk on that topic.
I ended up getting through half the agenda in 9 hours. Inside my Hermes Agent, I had the llm-wiki skill and Open Viking transcribing my words, word for word (fixing the obvious screwups) and making cross connections.
In addition to telling me which sessions I should go to and which wouldn’t be the best use of my time based on where I am in my own journey, I ended up with a book. No joke, I dictated 32,000 words on the drive. Granted, some of it is word salad, like swearing at other drivers, and it’s not at all in order, but that’s fixable with editing.
Now for the hard part: to see the actual sessions with real people and see how much I got right or wrong, how much I predicted, and what gaps I have in my thoughts. For those presenters who I’m on good terms with, we’ll likely share notes as I have ideas about their topics that they might not have tried and vice versa.
Will this ever see the light of day? Maybe. It needs heavy editing, but at the very least, the bones and foundation are there for something like Principles of Agentic AI, because a lot of the sessions and a lot of my thinking was about the proper implementation of Level 3 and 4 agentic systems.
See you soon, #MAICON2026.
