Please join me in welcoming Christopher Esken. So if you remember nothing else from this entire talk, it is this. The more relevant words you use in a prompt in today's models, the better it's going to perform. The most important thing you can do for your company is to build a prompt library. This is where your employees all record the prompts that they're using and the results they get, ideally, in some form of knowledge management system.
It doesn't matter what, it can be Evernote, Microsoft OneNote. So I took the budget that was released last night and put all 400,000 words of it into a language model at lunchtime and said, analyze the budget, tell me what's in here. And it did. It took about 60 seconds to do the analysis. But in the next 10 to 20 years, if you want to have a career and you want to have a job, you need to be able to learn at a accelerated pace.
You need to be able to adapt to change conditions, and you need to embrace the aspects of yourself that are uniquely yours. But this is the future. This is stunning to me. 60% of leaders will not hire someone who does not have AI skills. Everyone is a developer.
Everything you do, if it's a word you type or a word you say, everything is software. And every word is an opportunity.
