What still fascinates me is the promise of Jeff Han's multitouch surface which depends on HUGE- depends on being able to touch and interact with data, sort, slice, dice, drill down, collapse and identify unique patterns and solutions, but size and interaction with others in the process is important. So to be honest, while a large portion of things will be all mobile all the time, there will be times people will have to come together in person- and the large, multi-user, complex information-made-simple-through-graphical-interfaces will be in every conference room everywhere.
We need access to data and information everywhere, but parsing the data still sometimes is best done in groups and together- the social part of information sharing.
