I can read books on my Kindle for 2 WEEKS without having to charge it. Every time I plug my Kindle in to charge it, I 'literally' can't remember the last time I charged it. I can tell you the last time I had to charge my laptop or phone. This morning.

I recently bought a used Sony PRS-505. "epaper" really is easier to read than back-lit LCD, though some folks may not mind either way. Battery life is incredible, and the unit is very light and portable.

Tablet PC's may soon completely converge with these eReaders (though the current trend is hybrids... perhaps?). Right now there is a place for both. I wish that there were inexpensive 8" to 11" e-ink devices though, with fast PDF support. Nope.

I'm doing this, and it's really great. I've got several blogs and news sources I'm reading. What I can't quite figure out is a practical way to erase the old posts from the Kindle. I know that when I'm setting them up in Calibre, I set it to delete posts older than 5 days, but I still have the old posts on my device. Is there any way to have Calibre automatically delete the old ones?

Great post. Thanks.
