If you are stating facts and educating people I tend to see few comments. If you are taking a stand on a controversial subject, everyone will want to weigh in with an opinion. If you are telling a story, many will want to share similar tales. I'm not surprised a there are few comments on FAP, most people don't have much to comment on about information they are hearing, or understanding for the first time.
