		<description>This is a great post.  Your are so right about the power of a large (and "real") network of contacts and the need to build your personal brand.  Too often people over look the need for these until they find themselves suffering from the pain of the downturn...then they rush out and try to network and try to build a reputation.

The reality is you need to do these things before you need them, or it is too late.</description>
